Each year, students from Boston University's Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences embark on a service learning trip, where they take what they've learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world situations abroad. In 2016, the undergraduates traveled to the Chiang Rai province in Thailand to teach nutrition, hygiene and reproductive health to elementary and middle school students.
